We have lived in the country for just over 2 years, and we finally did it, the purchase that really screams "we are country people!", we bought a pick up. Although my stomach turned watching the gas gauge move before my eyes as we drove it home, my heart is lifted knowing that I will never again have to put a live raccoon in the trunk of my hatchback, or drive as though nothing is wrong with lumber sticking out of several windows and at all angles.
